Direhorses are fictional, six-legged creatures featured prominently in James Cameron's 2009 film, Avatar.
On Pandora, they are part of the ecosystem and share a neural bond with the Na'vi people. This bond allows the Na'vi to connect, control and ride these animals. The process requires a specific queuing ritual called "Tsaheylu", where the Na'vi plugs a neural link on their braid into the Direhorse.
